User Guide

The points to note when wearing artificial nails (gel nails, acrylic, etc.) are as follows.

1: Artificial nails do not strengthen the nail itself, but are recognized as protecting the nail.

After mounting, the artificial nail may come off due to strong impact or significant drying. After wearing, work with the pad of your finger, do not handle your fingertips roughly, and diligently moisturize.

In addition, messing with soil, using detergents containing abrasives, using metal scrubbing brushes such as scrubbing brushes and steel wool, and other rubbing against nails in daily life will damage the surface and tip of artificial nails and lose their luster. It may cause problems such as discoloration. For such work, we recommend using rubber gloves.

Forcibly peeling off the artificial nail will cause great damage to your nail. If you want to remove the artificial nails, please make a reservation before coming to the store.

 

2: By wearing artificial nails, you may feel pressure on your nails. In addition, artificial nails may not fit in your constitution. If you are worried, we recommend that you try installing only one and check the fit etc.

 

3: Artificial nails require regular care such as fill-in or replacement after a certain period of time after treatment. EDGE NAILS recommends visiting the store within 3 to 4 weeks after the procedure. Please note that there will be a gap between the artificial nail and your own nail, and if left untreated, it may cause illness such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection (green nail).

 

4: If you already have symptoms such as nail disease or mold on your nails, we recommend that you visit a hospital specializing in dermatology.

In addition, please note that the treatment cannot be performed unless the symptoms are completely cured and the consent of the doctor is obtained.

5: EDGE NAILS uses a nail machine for the treatment to minimize the damage to the nails.

Nail machine treatment involves some vibration and frictional heat, but please be assured that we will perform the treatment while visiting you.

Please come without hand cream on the day you come to the store with gel or acrylic. (Because oil interferes with the procedure)

Be careful not to get hair cream or wax on your nails.

The treatment may be refused depending on the physical condition of the customer on the day, skin diseases, etc.

We will explain the nature of artificial nails and aftercare before the treatment, and we will perform the treatment after understanding.

Technical warranty

At EDGE NAILS, we are particularly focusing on nail care, which is important for the development of healthy nails.

Please be assured that nail care is included in the artificial nail treatment in advance.

 

In order to protect the quality of service, the treatment is by appointment only.

A lecturer certified by the Japan Nail Technician Association will perform the treatment. (Gel test advanced qualification)

In addition, a nail salon hygiene manager is in charge of hygiene management in the salon.

Should there be a problem with artificial nails such as gel nails or acrylicPlease call within 7 days from the date of treatment.

We will repair it free of charge in the most recent salon business day. (Limited to normal use)

After the 7th, we will support you for a fee.

Customers are responsible for transportation and communication costs when repairing.

If you make your next reservation when you come to our store, we will offer you special benefits.

About the treatment

We use commercially available materials such as ethanol for disinfection and gel / acrylic that we handle at this salon.

Since it is a chemical substance, it may cause allergies depending on your constitution and physical condition.

If you have any concerns, please consult your doctor in advance.

In the unlikely event that any symptoms occur after the procedure, it is the customer's responsibility to see a doctor.

The chemicals used for the treatment and the materials related to nails will be the materials prepared in advance.

If you would like to use the materials of a specific manufacturer, please ask a specialized salon.

Images can be brought in, but they will not be 100% the same due to differences in materials.

We will accept it only if you are satisfied with the finish with a similar feeling.

We do not accept copyrighted designs.

We have established a treatment frame according to the treatment content you have reserved. Please contact us for any changes or additions to the treatment.

Please contact us if you have any questions about the required time.

If you have a desired departure time, please contact the person in charge as soon as possible when you come to the store.

We will perform the treatment after confirming and approving the color, design and menu contents.

We may not be able to accept sudden changes during the procedure.

No refunds will be given after the treatment. We accept redoing for customer's convenience for a fee. (Including color blend)

Customers who wish to color their feet with polish will not be able to wear their shoes immediately after the procedure.

Please bring tong-shaped sandals (eg beach sandals).

We are not responsible for any problems caused by the treatment at our shop.

(Example: My nails got caught and my bag was damaged. The stone came off and I was injured.)

In the following cases, we will refuse your reservation.

In addition, if it occurs or is found after coming to the store, the treatment will be canceled.

 

  • ① When our shop judges that cancellation without permission and lateness without permission are being carried out continuously

  • ② When an excessive request is made to the practitioner

  • ③ When an act that gives fear to other customers or practitioners, or when a threat is performed

  • ④ When an act contrary to public order and morals is performed

  • ⑤ When there is an act of soliciting staff or other customers

  • ⑥ When it is clear that the patient has not been completely cured after being diagnosed with an illness or infectious disease by a doctor (including the case where the practitioner determines that these symptoms are suspected).

  • ⑦ If you commit a criminal act in the store

  • ⑧ When our shop judges from other usage history etc.

  • If it is judged that the salon operation is hindered by other than ① to ⑧ and it causes inconvenience to other customers, please stop the treatment and leave the store . In addition, if you cannot leave the store, we will notify you as soon as possible.

We will check the above contents again when you come to the store for counseling.
